10% of sales on Sunday, September 26th from Bark! in Olney and Gaithersburg, will go directly to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County. Bark! in Gaithersburg will have adoptable cats looking for their forever home from noon to 4 p.m. The Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County’s mission is to enhance the lives of Montgomery County Maryland residents and animals through programs directed at education, adoption, animal shelter and low cost spay/neuter. They are committed to ending the euthanasia of adoptable animals in Montgomery County, Maryland. With this in mind, they partner with the county shelter to help save the most at-risk animals.
10% of sales on Sunday, September 26th from Bark! in Clarksville and Pikesville, will go directly to Fur the Love of Paws. Fur the Love of Paws are a not for profit, non-euthanizing, up and coming cat and eventually, dog shelter sanctuary. The three founders who started the organization have a combined 35 years of animal recue experience. Thousands of animals are euthanized each year in Maryland alone, simply due to lack of space in shelters. So they decided to volunteer their time and start their own rescue organization, not only for the extreme need, but for their unconditional love of animals.
